Tiina Andersson, Sture Andersson, liisa Petaja and Jari Petaja caught 2 mahi 6 shibi 1 ono and 3 aku for lots of fun today
Right on time and out we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. On the way we took a mahi hit and landed it then an ono hit and it came aboard too, a great start. At the buoy we jigged and caught a nice shibi and a few aku and ran an aku live. When we baited Scot hooked a mahi but it came off at gaff. Then we had a lot of hookups that all came off, before a small mahi hooked up and stayed on. One last nice big shibi hooked up and we landed it, these guys did good today. In the harbor Jari was the bold one to eat a mahi eyeball gladly. Aloha Capt Rusty

David and Cathrine McCann caught 8 mahi 1 ono 5 shibi and 3 aku for a great day of fishing
Right on time at 5:15 out we go on this day of 15 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we took a mahi hit but it came off at gaff. When we jigged we hooked a mahi and Scot baited up one more and we got 2. When we baited Scot hooked one more mahi and we landed it. Then there was a long time of no bites before a shibi ate a bait and Cathrine landed a nice shibi. Then a few mahi showed up and Scot baited up 2 on one pass and one on the next. Then we had a shibi mahi double and landed them both. These folks did great reeling in all these fish. On our way in we found 2 birds working and hooked an ono and a shibi on lures and baited up a mahi, and lost a few ono hits on bait too, it was a great way to end the day. Good going guys. And they seemed to like my playlist of rock and roll oldies too. Aloha Capt Rusty
